1. What is CircuitBee?

CircuitBee allows you to easily share electronic circuits that you've created and uploaded. It provides a zoomable, interactive, schematic viewer that can be embedded on any web page as well as being visible on the CircuitBee website itself.

  2. Which web browsers does CircuitBee work on?

CircuitBee works on Google Chrome, Firefox 3.6 and above, Internet Explorer 9. Other browsers may work but are not officially supported. (The viewer works on iPhone and Android devices.)

  3. What file types can I upload?

Currently we support most schematic files saved from KiCad (no hierarchical schematics).

  4. Can I upload files from EAGLE?

Yes, if you export them using the ULP script available on our Eagle import guide page.

  5. What if I'm using custom parts libraries?

Custom parts libraries can be uploaded as part of the schematic upload process so that your schematic displays properly.

  6. Can I upload and share PCB layouts?

Not at this time, but it is something we intend to support later on.

  7. What will it cost me?

Right now? Absolutely nothing. We're going to try and keep this service free as long as we can. We'll have to see how the hosting costs go however and see how it can be supported in the future if things get too expensive.

  8. I have a question that isn't answered here.

If you have any other questions you can e-mail ben@circuitbee.com.
